早速ですが、本日は蹴鞠始めの写真を使ったPart１の問題です。

蹴鞠はじめ　(下賀茂神社)

On January 4th, the Shimogamo shrine hosts a display of Kemari hajime, an elegant nobleman’s game.  Wearing colorful costumes, players lightly kick a ball to one another, attempting to keep it in the air.

（A）A ball is being kicked by a man.

（B）One of the men is putting on a kimono.

（C）Many people are waiting for some refreshments.

（D）A red building is overlooking a fountain.

正解（A）ボールが男性によって蹴られています。

★はんなりポイント

（A）は受動態の進行形「～されているところです。」蹴鞠遊びが行われているところなので正解。（B）は「今、着物を着ているところ」ではないので×。（D）は前半（A red building is overlooking）までは正しいが、その後のa fountain(噴水)が間違え。”a fountain”のように写真にないものが聞こえてきたらすぐに消去したらよろしいえ。選択肢を最後までよう聞いて消去法も使いながら正解を選びましょうね。
