本日は小野小町のお寺として有名な随心院に関するによるPart1の問題です。

随心院

Zuishin-in Temple is located in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City.  This temple is known as the temple associated with Onono Komachi.(小野小町).　There is a beautiful fusuma picture in the room called Noh-no-ma.　Lifetime of Onono Komachi is drawn on this picture.

Part1 Question

（A）Some light fixtures are being installed on the ceiling.

（B）Some columns are overlooking in the patio.

（C）Beautiful attire is being displayed on the windowsill.

（D）A bunch of flowers are arranged in the room.

正解（D）沢山の花が部屋に配置されています。

★はんなりポイント

A bunch of flowers は、沢山の（束になった）花、という意味どす。arrangeは「配置する」ゆうことやし、受動態で、「～がある」という意味になるから、（D）が正解どすえ。

（A）light fixtureは「照明器具」というまとめ語。（B）columnは「円柱」、patioは「中庭」。どちらも写真に映ってないし、全然あきまへん。（C）attire「服」、windowsill「（出窓などにある）窓台」はTOEIC では頻出語やし、しっかり頭にインプットしときましょね。
