During the summer days, the river makes Kawadoko, a cooler place than the rest of the lowland places in Kyoto. At Kawadoko, it is usually 10℃ cooler than the center of Kyoto city. As a restaurant is overlooking a river, cool breeze will come from a river and diners will feel so refreshed.
